For those of you who bought 2407 or 2007's with the recent deals and noticed a banding issue (or just want to replace it for an updated firmware version because you can).

This eliminates the banding issue when using the Desktop mode only (not in Multimedia Mode or Gaming Mode) using 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz for the 2007FP/WFP and 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz for the 2407

I recieved my replacement a couple weeks ago, all is well... no banding, and no dead pixles!

how do you know if you have a banding issue? I got my 24" wide screen from Dell about a year ago

It says it is only on the new models
