This is a pretty hot deal. I was looking to apply for the Chase Platinum card to get Lowest Price Guarantee and Return Protection benefit(part of Chase Shop Secure program) see this thread for info on CSS

Chase Perfect card is a gas rebate card, 6% rebate for 3 months, 3% after that. 1% rebate for all other purchases. It's a pretty good flat 1% rebate card.

It's really only for when I can't use my AMEX cash rebate card(I'm averaging 2% this year, so far).

averaging 2% !? Could you please give some detail how you are averaging 2% rebate this year..

Since, "everyday purchases" and "all other purchases" are counted separately, I would be interested to know how are you able to reach 2% rebate..

damn, just applied for PerfectCard and approved, but haven't received the card. any chance to get this extra money again ??
