The price of this UPS is $89.99 in staples. You can find it in your OD B&M for $9.99 after
$30 mail in rebate and $20 coupon. I want to buy more and sell them. I can get the coupon
with different addresses and names. Enjoy!

I really wish people would stop posting deals using this 20 of 50 that is expired... or give us your new 20 off 50 :) I would love to have a new 20 off 50 but I don't think it is out there :/

yes, he posted this in the eleventh hour, but i am sure that some lurkers at least got in on this deal
when he posted the deal, THE DEAL WAS STILL ACTIVE.
and if someone is twisting one's arm to read this thread, use the free one to call the police instead of crabbing on a dead deal

Be sure to carefully read the box before purchasing. If this is the one I looked at last week (I think it is), it can't handle monitors over 15".

I think this one can accommodate monitors over 15". On top of the box is chart with runtimes of systems (Desktop, Tower, iMac, Mac-G4) crossed with monitors up to 21". I picked one of these up online for $14.99 + tax, AC ($15/50) & AR. Used the in-store pick-up method since it shows 3-day delivery in my area.

Nice deal, thanks!

I can barely get this thing to work with a 2 year old pentium server and monitor for 10 mins. It won't even take the amd server (no monitor), not even with the server turned off. It sounds it's built in overload alarm.

It wont run the amd computer you have for even a couple seconds when like the power flickers? thats all i'm really concerned about.

Are you guys getting this from Staples.com, Staples, or Office Deopot.

Does Staples pricematch the after rebate price?

I got one of these when Staples had it for $10 AR (free after $10 coupon) a couple weeks ago. It supports up to 200W on its three battery-powered outlets, so if you look in your monitor owner's guide and find the wattage your monitor sucks up, you can figure out how much is left for your computer (assuming you're trying to run both off of the battery outlets).

Before, I had a Conext 300VA (vs. this APC's 350VA) and I was able to run my 19" monitor and Celeron 550Mhz computer off of battery power. But since the APC has the USB data connection, now I just have the computer hooked up to it and have it set to put my computer into hibernation mode if battery power drops to 50%. This takes care of both the 1-3 second power blips and the longer outages.

It's crossed because it's telling you to get their 500VA version if you want to use those higher configurations. I wouldn't plan on getting the 350VA hoping to hook up both your monitor and PC (unless you have a small monitor and slower computer...a 300VA UPS worked with my 19" monitor and 550Mhz Celeron, although I didn't test how long it could go past the 30 seconds I tried it for). With the USB data cable on this unit, not having your monitor hooked up isn't as big a deal since you can set it to shut down your PC once the battery power drops to a specified level that you set.

Just ordered one using the 15 off 50 coupon. I would've used the 20 off 50, but the xtra 5 buck savings isn't worth the 45 min. drive. 15 + tax for this is a HOT deal.

As soon as I plugged in the AMD Server CPU, the APC overload alarm went off, and that was with the CPU off.
