It seems like they (antec and chieftan) are clearing out the older cases, cause the newer ones have upfront usb ports.

Chieftan is teh OEM provider for Antec. The only difference is the PS and case badge. I have the SX830 and it is great.

Im betting this is the same as an antec 420W powersupply. All signs seem to point that way.

This link independantly confirms that a turbolink really a Channel Well store
Notice the part number CWT-420ATX-12V. This matches up with channel wells sight Channel Well.

This is enough independently consistent information to convince me this deal rocks 🙂.
 
Bought this same case at Fry's 18 months ago for 99.00, when it was oringinally 129.00. I have since bought three of these cases to build computers for friends, family and the boss. All steady as a rock. Great deal since TCWO charges 6.95 shipping. 85.95 for this case is a steal. I would buy another except I spend too much money on these hot deals and I already have two fully loaded computers. Why would I want three???? Please, don't answer that.😀
 
Shipping from cyberpower is 22.54 with tax for me. Does anyone know if these people are reliable. Anyone order from them before???? Agreed, it's 8 bucks cheaper with a bigger PS, but TCWO is as reliable as they come.

Why? Because cyberpowerpc.com sucks! Check out the poor history at resellerratings.com. They are a typical scam computer shop.

Everyone should stick with tcwo.com, newegg.com, or mwave. If they ever get a good rating and a decent website, (no yahoo) then I might risk it.

Thanks for the link. I now wouldn't touch these guys with a 10 ft pole. I have been burned out on unreliable vendors and rebates for that matter. From now on it's only reliable vendors like TCWO, Newegg, Dell etc and coupons only.
 
Well I cant argue with your customer service reseller ratings post. They speak for themselves, hwoever the assumption that any yahoo store site is worthless can be debated. Are you familliar with SVComputcycle.com? They get great reviews on this site. And yet they are a yahoo store. Maybe they are the exception to your rule, or maybe the assumption is wrong. Who knows, Im gonna take chance here. Maybe Ill get burned. I will post results when I get them.

To actually view the reseller ratings most negative comments are from people who bought custom rigs. Not compenents. This does not excuse the service, Im betting the case comes sealed, hard to screw that up. I hope mine works out of the box, if not I may be in trouble.

I'm sure some yahoo stores are good. But lets face facts here. Anyone can setup shop in a few minutes on the net. If you run a real computer company, why not install a real custom site? After all you are a computer company. Maybe I'm wrong but you are foolish to take a chance like you state. Unless you are rich and it doesn't bother you to miss the money. Check the rattings here on Anandtech. Price isn't everything.

TCWO charges $6.95 flat shipping UP TO 150lbs for ground service. As each case weighs 32-35 lbs, you get the idea. Still, at $6.95 S/H it is an excellent deal as most stores will charge you $15-20 dollars to ship such a heavy item.

I bought my 1.2 Athlon from them, along with a HSF to get the 1 yr warranty, then called them a few months later as I though the chip was bad and had no problem getting an RMA from them. I would buy from them again.

dude, biased opinions like that aren't going to help anyone. i'm sure there are some bad retailers on yahoo, but at the same time i bet there are also plenty of good ones.

bottom line: don't be so quick to judge
 
I orderd the Antec 1030b from TCWO a few weeks ago for the same price. It is indeed black, not charcoal.
