This is by far (IMO), one of the greatest computer/elecronics/ stores on the planet. They are packed to the gills with product, and the place is just fun. It would take you a week to check out all the junk they have. All motherboards are staked out on carpeted shelves (where you can really check them out), and they carry just about everything for the computer builder/electronics hobbiest.

Hope they end up near you. The place rocks.

Well, I have to say this is going back unless someone can show me what I'm doing wrong. The system Antec 430w, Corsair 256 mb pc3200 and this combo. Rough o/c at 13x155, max cpu 1.85v , 2.8 dramv, system performance set to fast and I even turned up ram timming. Loaded everything on cd and updated the 4 in 1's. Sandra cpu Dhry 5578 and Whet 2750. Mem Int 2333 Float 2195. Cpu maybe unlocked but this board won't do it. Temps are around 44c to 49c with Dr. thermal and 41cfm fan. I was almost think of putting this cpu in the Iwill xp333r that is water cooled but it's some work and the mem score are still not that good on that one. Need Nforce2 board for cheap.

hmm...my dragon lite overclocks fine. it's not the best, but it's still a good board. my processor is the only thing holding me back from going higher.

Final scores cpu 5761 and 2849, mem 2382 and 2239 at 13x158. I think the problem is there is no 1/5 divider. Since this just for testing, I threw my old Voodoo 3 3000 and 3dmark kept crashing but it did sandra burn in for 2 hours no problem. What you think?

Well...I had ordered the same cpu from NewEgg and I wanted to get a decent board with good sound until I saw this deal at Fry's. If this has decent sound then I'll probably return the Newegg chip I bought.

weeeeeeeee just bought mine in sacramento fry's and it is a Tbred B! running at 2245mhz 2800+ @ 1.75vcore actual 1.776 on Asus Probe with sucky Kingston Valueram at 166fsb.

Fry's is owned by 3 brothers ( David, John, Randy Fry) and 1 woman (Kathy Kolder). David Fry is the geek writing all the programs for the POS/Inventory systems in the store. John Fry is the CFO. He signs all the checks and approves everything that needs to be added in the store. Randy Fry is the CEO, he basically just goes out and meets people and makes videos. Kathy Kolder is head of the legal department. Supposedly she is the ex-wife of John Fry.


Fry's just opened a store in Vegas. They will be opening another store in San Marcos, Chicago and Florida I believe.

proof the dragon lite isn't too bad for overclocking. *sigh of relief* i was hesitating in buying a t-bred card because people said this board wouldn't overclock them well.

Sorry, but its not with the Dragon Lite, i put that in my other comp with the 1700+, i oced it with Asus A7N8X Deluxe

For fun I put the 2100+ b, in my Iwill xp333r. Got it to 2301 on water.

The dragon lite board lacks the extra daughter card that supports 5.1 and digital inputs though it is the exact same board as the dragon platinum ultra as far as features go. All you have to do is purchase the daughter card from soyo to get 5.1 sound.
