i don't understand whats so good about oakleys that someone would pay $100-150 for a pair of sunglasses... someone explain this. is it just one of those brand things kinda like designer t-shirts that costs $40 and is the same as hanes.
 
a lot of ppl are rough w/ their glasses and say oakleys hold their own. they look nice too. I had a pair of a-wires... very very nice. unfortunately, the price for polarized Rx lenses was a bit too much.. went w/ a more conventional look (altho, they are raybans..)

i've also had foakleys.. not worth the $5 IMO... they just don't have any quality to them really (the metals anyway.. the plastic ones were decent for the price, particularly the minutes).
 
Maui Jim's are the nicest sunglasses imo.
Once you go Jim, you never go back.
Ive had my pair for like 6 years, and treated them super ruff
and the lenses still dont have a scratch on it and when they are
clean look brand new.
