HOT?!? 802.11B PCMCIA CARD $37.95

JustDeals.com got a 3.1/7.0 at Reseller Ratings

Dunno about this one....

Edit: Yikes, after reading the comments I'm going to stay away from them. Sounds like the company is run by a bunch of trolls :|

I have played around with the Wireless Networking for quite some time now. Let me just say one thing, only get the Orionico Gold cards, they are the best. Do not go for something cheap, like Linksys or D-link, you will regret it! I know, when I just started this wireless networking thing I went for the cheap, and I regret it. The cheap cards get signal very poorly. I am in a 2-story house, and with my Gold card, I am able to move anywhere in the house, kitchen, garage, you name it and I receive full signal. For the base, you can get that cheap. The cards is what matters most, the base is just a base. I got the D-link with the print server.

shipping form justdeals is like $12 i think, that kills the deal because it can be had from overstock.com for like 50 with free shipping (i think the deal is still going on), and if you add $10 there is a $20 off $60 coupon you can apply.

<< junky card >>

That was a useless comment......

anyhow, from the link "Security: Wired Equivalency Protection (WEP) 40-bit data encryption. 128-bit Encryption available soon "
So hopefully, but don't count on it, it will probably have a Firmware upgrade to allow 128bit encryption..

Did a search on google. It's appears to be a decent card. Some quirks with Win2k tools, but no complaints agains the drivers.

If you need one, this might be worth a shot. IMHO, I'd rather go buy a Delltruemobile 1150 or 1100 off Ebay for $30-50, they're rebaged Orinco Gold/silver....excellent range, and XP support to boot (most cards are not fully XP compatible).

My $.02

40 bit should be good enough to keep terrorists leaching off your internet connection. Even 128 bit is crackable so I wouldn't feel safe having secure files exposed to a wireless network at this time.

Just got finished setting up my Proxima Card from Justdeals.com. Worked the first time, comes with 128-bit encryption & has a pretty nice range (all rooms & patio). Got my card in a week after ordering.
