*sigh*, granted Newegg has great prices, they have already included thier "free shipping" into their pricing.

I was just wondering, I am currently using Crucial 2100 with my 2200 XP. I realize that my proc and epox 8kha+ is 266 and not 333, but this ram will still allow higher overclocks for me, correct?

you will only be able to overclock higher if the chip will allow high fsb or if you unlocked and can lower the multiplier and the nincrease the fsb

Let me clarify, as I was a bit unclear. I can only reach like 144fsb with my current ram (on tthe default multiplier) I would like to get 2 gigahertz, which would require 148fsb iirc. So, I meant to ask, this ram should be able to easily push 150, right?

Any one run this RAM yet?
I orderd some also but unsure of the performace??

Please post if you have this ram already and running in a 333mhz enviornment.

Thanks.

Can I plug this in to an Epox 8KHA+ motherboard, with a stick of crucial ddr pc2100 and expect it to work? Is PC2700 backwards compatible with PC2100? Thanks much for any info you can share.

PC2700 doesn't run at PC2700 unless you run it at that speed. If PC2100 is all you're running, the PC2700 will be running at that speed too.

Nice deal.

Considering it used to be >180 bucks a piece when I wanted it. But plop down on RDram system, now I am regretting it. (rdram was 160 for 2X256 when I bought it one year ago.)

I just got my stick in today. It's some memory name I've never heard of before. CL2 up to 133MHz. CL2.5 up to 167MHz. BUT...................................

I have it running with my stick of 512MB Samsung DDR333 at CAS2 in my Epox 4G4A with no problems. Ran Prime95 all morning with it.

NFS was this cas2 x 166fsb ?
If so I need to make an order

thanks big time for this find

WOW I bought 512 last week for 94.XX now 79.
I am tempted to get another 512mb.

By the way guys it works great in a dell 4550 system at 333mhz.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if this would be compatible with a Soyo Dragon Lite motherboard. My motherboard is so darn picky with ram that it rejected my Samsung stick and I can only run Crucial ram.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just ordered one, what the hell for $106.00 shipped next day you can't beat the price. Hope it works good! thanks for the deal!
😀

Still need to hear from overclockers.
How well do these overclock?

Am running cheap Outpost 256meg PC2700 at 185MHz (370 DDR) here in 8k5a2,
and would like to hit 200+MHz like others with same board.

Umm, actually Google Gear beats the price. Kingston 512MB PC2700 is $99 shipped (2nd day) there. I ordered some yesterday.

Seems their MULTIWAVE 512MB PC3200 400MHZ for $104.50 is a good deal as well. Does anyone know about these chips?

Can anyone who bought this stick (NFS4 maybe?) tell us some info about the RAM? Who manufactures the chips, and perhaps most importancy what kind of CAS rating do they have at rated speed? I called Newegg Sales and got this response:

"We dont care about latencies, so we don't put them on the website"

Marvelous! :disgust:

Seems like a great deal, especially just over $100 for 512 of PC3200 unless the latency is awful.
