Do the moderators delete posts where you guys suggest fraud like that? Or is it only whole threads that suggest suggest fraud that get that honor?
 
Can someone please answer my question ...I already created two accounts and still do not see a -$5.00 at checkout. I see regular price and a Free Shipping discount but that's about it. What am I doing wrong? I stay loggeed in.

FRAUD on a measly $5, I don't think so.

I don't think anyone in here is really encouraging 'fraud' on something like this. But for those that want to create multiple accounts, that just seems like a waste of time as well. $5 for free is nice anyway you look at it, but so much work and effort for just $5 does not a fraud 'scheme' make.

You have to follow the instructions elsewhere in this thead. It doesn't give you the $5 off everytime.

It just worked for me.

Matrix 10 bucks. But... I didn't really care for the movie but it might of been it was so packed that I was not able to enjoy it anyway. I guess I wanted to go back and see it again but heck for 10 bucks I can see it as many times as I want.

I dunno if I'll even go see the third one. I'll just wait till it comes out on dvd and have the set I guess.


 
Crap, no one is telling me why I dont see the f'n $5.00 off. Anyway, of course it can be fraud if you can purchase gift cards (or anything) for $5 less then reg. price. Think about it you'd make $5 profit for each item that you purchase $5 cheaper and then resell.

I did the same thing. Man, what a deal/steal!

I just ordered the Memorex 24pack DVD+R 4x spindle for $27.05 shipped.

It's currently on sale for $29.99 - $5 + tax = $27.05 (California).

I also wanted to test out Circuit City. What a pain. So, I went there and had them price match. He said he could only PM to $49.99 because the extra $20 was a rebate. I said.. no, it's a $20 "instant" rebate. So, he had to go talk with the "manager".

After a couple of minutes go by, he then price matches to $29.99. Then I said, don't they PM 110%? I had to asked him 3 times. So, he went to get the manager again. The manager had to swipe his "manager" card for the item to go through. The manager then stared at the BestBuy ad for this item for another minute and then left.

I guess they couldn't believe the price difference. So with Circuit City, this is what I got:

$59.99 - $30 (price difference) = $29.99 - $3 (10% of difference) = $26.98 (he went $.01 lower?) + tax = $29.21 out the door.

It's not as cheap as the BestBuy -$5 deal but close enough -and- you have the blanks walking out the door.

What ever am I going to do with 50 DVD+R blanks (2x25)?! =D
 
Finally got it... I didn't know what to get so I went with everyone else and got matrix reloaded. It was an ok movie, maybe I can sell it for more.
 
Just bought the matrix reloaded for $10.59 (taxxed) using that $5 off. Took a while to get it in my cart properly. After I created an account, I then added the movie to my cart. Then clicked the sign out link. Then went to the camera page and clicked on the $5 link and signed in using that link. It worked that way. I never cleared my cache once.

I was trying to get the $5 off with no luck. It worked fine with your directions. I picked up Peter Malick's album New York City for $7.60 after taxes. Sweet deal.
 
I tried doing it for my wife's account earlier and couldn't get it to work no matter whose instructions I tried.
Went out for a few hours, cam back and tried again and it worked like the 3rd time without having to clear cache or anything.
No idea what I did differently, if anything at all.
Anyway, if you're not having luck, take a break and come back, might help.
