known about this for awhile, was posted on techbargains quite a long time ago, not sure if it was ever posted here before. Its been talked about quite a bit in avsforum, if anyones interested go check it out. Theres a huge thread entitled "42'' 3G Plasma".

In the stats:
Video Max Resolution - 1024 x 768

If that's accurate then it's not HD 720i is 1280 x 720. Does that mean because the screen itself is wide aspect your image will end up streched out and distorted, because the resolution at 1024x768 is a 4:3 aspect ration and True HD is widescreed or 16:9?

Most HD plasmas in this size are this resolution. The pixels are wider which gives it an unstretched 16:9 image. If you go by the strict definition of HD, then it is not true HD. This looks like a great deal. I wonder if the DVI connection is HDCP compliant. It doesn't say in the specs. If it weren't then the DVI connection would be useless.

the DVI is HDCP compliant, as stated in the manual, seriously check out the avsforum thread on this, it will answer ANY questions you might have
