I can still add 31 to my cart.

Now you can only add 30 :) Thanks. I love newegg and now I love you! Newegg is great to do business with...even on their refurbs.

If I posted stuff like this I'd have over 5,000 posts by now. lol But then again, I'm just a nub ;)

Just my experience is that about 80% of the time I get a perfectly working item. If it doesn't work I trust Newegg to replace or refund the purchase.

Doh! Now they are out of stock. Knew it was too good to last at that price. For those who got in, don't keep your fingers crossed that it will be in perfect working condition. Newegg refurbs are about 50/50 for me - some work great and some have really bad artifacts even at stock speeds. The last one I tried was a 9800XT for $320 and someone had flashed it with a 9800 Pro bios and it defaulted to 380/340 and still had terrible artifacts at those speeds. Newegg is always great about refunds on defective refurbs and you're only out return shipping, so it's definitely worth a shot. Good luck!

Ouch - had to buy one. Normally I can speed through processing an order dangerously fast - before I even get a chance for second thoughts. Today, it took a loooooong time to login and to process the order. I wonder if they are getting hammered with refurb purchases, or if it's just the gods giving me every chance to make the right choice and not spend my unemployment money ;-)

That's weird. I can still add 12 to my cart.

My boss would love to know what I'm doing with my time today.....make that his time.

I've been about 75%. You can score some great cards. I got a 9700np for 159 about a year ago that turned out to be a 9700 pro. They give you tons of warnings, and you might get doa stuff but if you wanna save money its the best way to go.

i find it funny people pause at having to return an item, when ive seen people on this forum drive 150 miles to staples for some cheap luggage. lol

Refurbished scare me. Good if its a return cause some id-10T cant run driver cleaner, but what if it is boo-boo. Can you return a refurbished for credit or swap Only. Plus shipping cost.

There is a 256meg version for $250 @newegg too.(refurbished)

If I didn't know that honest AT'ers would ream me, I'd tell everyone to stay away from Newegg refurbs so I could have them all to myself. The worst that ever happens is that you have to pay to mail it back and get a refund. How much does that hurt?

Agreed. If you are cheap you could always ship it back via book rate through USPS. :)

Or, you could just pay the extra money, still possibly get a bad unit, and stil have to pay to have it shipped back :(

Agreed. I think this is very hot!

I haven't bought a refurbed video card, but I have bought several refurbed processors from newegg without a single problem. It's worth a shot I think...and since it's refurbed they will refund you instead of making you swap for another.
