HOT! 200 GB Maxtor Hard Drive - $59.99 AR

For those of you with a Microcenter and an Office Depot nearby, I just picked this up!

Office Depot has the Maxtor 200 GB L01P200 Hard Drive on sale right now for 109.99. I printed out that link, called my local OD to make sure they had them in stock (per Microcenter's price match policy) and Microcenter PMed that price.

As well, when you buy the L01P200 at Microcenter, there's a $50 Microcenter Rebate for this drive.

That brings it to $109.99-$50 = $59.99 ... which equals $.30/GB - not too shabby.

Hope this helps someone!

do u need to buy the hdd at OD to get the price match? what about the OD MIR, can u subtract $20 more, will MC price match that $20 MIR?

I didn't buy the drive at OD - just showed them the add to PM it. And they wouldn't PM the extra $20 off simply because i had nothing with me showing the $89.99 final price. If you took in an add which might have that as the price, and they didn't look at the fine print and assumed it was the price for the drive out the door - then they might PM to $89.99 - $50 rebate - which would be sweet indeed.

Good christ, what price does a hard drive have to be these days to count as "hot"?

Thanks OP, I do have both stores in town here, might try it. I'm "hard drive rich" right now because of other recent deals, but... you know how that goes. I'm a sucker for a bargain on them, it's like some kind of fetish for storage.

i'll jump at .25/gb 😛 this is still a good deal though, i'll consider if it i decide its worth more than waiting for a better deal

i tried it at my local OD. They didnot PM MC because the MC ad didnot specify the make and or model. They did accept OM $10 off cpn, though.

Might be helpful if you buy from their website though...no B&M store in your state = no sales tax.

That still is a pretty good price without a pm. So tempting.

there is a $10 off $50 coupon (includes Tech items) floating around.

update: the coupon is valid with payment via VISA Credit Card.

The Coupon is for OD.
