Hot: 19" monitor $130 at staples

I was looking around yesterday for a 19" monitor since best buy ran out of their mag 19's. I decied to go with this 19" Envision from staples that they had for $200. I had a staples coupon for $30 off $150, so it would be a little more expensive then the mag, but not too bad. Well, I called up staples to see if they had them in stock. They lady said they did and there was a $50 mail in rebate! Yea! So after the coupon and the rebate it was only $130. Linkey I heard people talking about a $40 off coupon, but I couldn't find it anywhere. So you might be able to get it for a little less! It also has a three year warrenty. I was kind of glad best buy ran out. 😛

Here are the Specs:
Monitor Type CRT
Diagonal Screen Size 19"
Viewable Screen Size 18"
Dot Pitch .25 mm
Max Resolution 1600x1200 @ 75Hz
Horizontal Frequency 30-95 kHz
Vertical Frequency 50-160 Hz
Compatibility PC/MAC
Speakers None
Other Features OSD Function Controls, Energy Star Compliant, Plug-n-Play
Dimensions 18.1"x18.3"x18.5" 44lbs
Warranty 3 Year Parts & Labor

NYC alert - While I was PMing the Logitech speakers at the 57 St & 6 Av Store, I saw some Envision 19" monitors on clearance for $130. I'm not sure if it is this model EN-910. If it is, then its a boiling hot deal. $130 - $20 Coupon - $50 MIR = $60. They have two remaining on the floor, on the same aisle as the monitor showcase.

Do note that this is *unconfirmed* since I dont remember the model number, but I'm 1000% sure its an Envision 19".

Definitely hot. I can't find a $40 off $200 coupon, so you'll have to make due with the $30 off $150. Too bad I don't need a monitor.

Making this doubly hot is the free next day shipping. Even shows in stock for me in the Bay Area!

It looks similar to the ones I receive in email from companies that may make it user specific.

But sign up for that newsletter it is on top of the deal codes.

based on feedback from AT people code is specific to AN individual ,sorry.

Staple's Rebate Forms says "not valid with any other offer or promotions." Does this mean they won't honor the rebate since they would know you guys used a 30 off 150 coupon (I'm assuming this shows up on a receipt you have to mail to them)?

Welcome back..I think..anyway... rebate is not affected by price reductions done at the store or online level..

I also noticed this deal a couple days ago. The monitor is really ugly. I dont know anything about the quality. The dial seemed to be sturdy but the case looks kinda cheap and adds a couple inches around the screen. They also have a 17inch flat screen CRT for 179-50MIR-30coupon for a total price of 99+tax. I think i might go for the 17inch because it looks totoally different. I just need a temp monitor for 2 months.

Can you use those coupons in store? i like instant gratification...

If the one people looked at has the dial in the center, that's not the one you'll receive. The one with the dial is the old 910, the one Staples.com ships is the 910e which is the new energy efficient model. Most stores have the 910e also.

Mosco, if you can find a printable coupon, you can use it instore.

yeah, Staples was displaying the one with the dial at my local store. hopefully the e model is not so ugly. I guess the 17inch flat CRT they had is a different model too.

Anyone have one these? reliability? i have never heard of them before i checked out staples.

I all i can find are coupon numbers, printable coupons? were would those be (PM please). It would be sweet ot drive to new Hampshire and pick this up sales tax and shipping free.
