Hot? 17" LCD 16ms responce

I bought one, got it today. Seems nice for the price. But they placed the Fedex label right over the UPC :frown:

i too have the fedex label over the upc...... i emailed newegg this morning and got this response:

Try heating the label with an iron. The glue will soften and the label will easily peal off leaving the UPC intact.

What time your sent you email? I sent one last night and I didnt get a response yet :frown:

Not sure if this would work, the UPC is also a sticker.

i emailed them 12/1 in the morning and had a response 2 hours later....... they are aware this is a pretty widespread problem..... here's some of my email....

hi... got my monitor 11/30/04...... the upc has been covered by the shipping label......and checking around on some of the cyber deal forums, mine isn't the only box this has happened to..... i can't remove the fed ex without tearing the upc...... please give neso a heads up on this with their rebate processing center...... could be alot of unhappy customers coming...... thanks..... roger
