for all those people in southern california who got a cheap George Foreman grill from Amazon and like grilled cheese sandwiches.

i went over to ralphs last week to get some sliced cheese. the 12 slice pack was $3.69. this week, it is $.99 with limit 2. but the deal gets even sweeter (or cheesier?). when you check out, you get a coupon for $0.50 off your next purchase of 2 12 slice packs. i went back in and got two more, this time for 2 * $0.99 - $0.50 = $0.74 each pack! that's 80% off the original price! they have american, sharp cheddar, and swiss at the south-central LA location near USC.

also pick up some sourdough bread... awesome combination there.

If I'm not mistaken, today was the last day for the .99 cheese.

The deal was even better than you originally posted. If you picked up the sale flyer at the front of the store, inside of it was a coupon for a free 24 oz. loaf of bread with the purchase of the cheese. I picked both up today when I went shopping.

Yoda, make sure you pick up the sale ad for this weeks sale (Wed thru Tue) at Ralph's. You can get 2 boxes of Eggo's waffles or Toaster Muffins for .50 with the manufacturers coupon and Ralph's coupon inside the paper. And for those of you that didn't know, you can use a Ralph's coupon AND a manufacturers coupon on an item.

Kraft 12 singles were two for $1.99 (no limit) here (South Florida Winn Dixies) for a couple days...sort of makes you wonder why.

....sir, our experimental chemical gas target turns out to be a kraft cheese truck what do we do now?
....private, take that man's uniform, complete his route and get rid of this mess quickly.

I think this deal may be over :( All the markets where I live (Northern L.A.) change their deals on Wednesday. But it was a great deal. I felt like a dork, but I just kept going around in a circle. Buy Cheese, get coupon, get more cheese, redeem coupon, get coupon, and over again like 4 times!! What a dork am I. My daughter loves this cheese! It is nasty processed stuff, so it will live forever. I don't even think it needs refridgeration. Nasty thought, but true.

about refridgeration of this cheese, they had some in the case that were being cooled, but they had boxes and boxes of them just sitting out next to the refridgerator. i think you're right--they don't need to be, but it makes people feel better when they are.
