They say I need to wait 10 days before I can close the account, because if there are problems with the transfer the $$$ can still be pulled. I'm not sure if I believe that, since my bank has already reported the transfer.

jtdrix - Thanks for the info, I had no idea that WingspanBank is having troubles. Then again name a dot-com that isn't doing a nose dive. Fortunately I think most the people here who opened a WingspanBank account don't intend on keeping their account open for more than the minimum 10 days.

I mailed a $100 personal check made payable to myself to fund the account, therefore eliminating the 10 day waiting period.

Wingspan has had major problems ever since its creation, and Bank One has lost $250 million on the operation. So I suggest you close your account as soon as you qualify for the $100 bonus.
