Error Will Robinson...... No go on the link for me :-(

hrm... guess it's an actually coupon from OfficeMax for everyone so we can link it? Doubt it. Dunno.

I just checked weekly specials on their website. It's there for the SF area. DAMN IT!!!!! I just shipped something today.

Will this work for any items? I've got a bday gift to send my brother of non officemax products. Not sure if this matters - seeing as how I NEVER go there.

Has anyone actually tried using this coupon?

I used the last one to send somthing from florida to California. I told the guy to send it the highest priority keeping me under the coupon amount ($10). Ground was the only option but it still got there in only 3 days! No problems using the coupon at all.

No shipping deal with Airborne is worth the money, even if it is free.

I placed an order for software online. (The guilty party shall go unnamed.) They used Airborne as their fulfillment agent. The package was ordered November 11, 2002 with second day air. Airborne did no fulfill until December 6, 2002.

<Arrived in Albany, New York (Delivering office.) December 9, 2002.>

<Second day delivery due December 10.>

On December 11, Airborne marked the package as delivered.

On December 12, Airborne showed the packege as delivered on December 11, and as out for delivery.

On December 13, Airborne showed the package as delivered on December 11.

Later on December 13, Airborne showed the package as delivered on December 13, but they delivered it to someone else on my street.

On December 16, Airborne finally delivered the package to me. Remember this was second day air and they were the shipper.

After each erroneously marked delivery I was on the telephone from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Several times being dumped from the telephone que after waiting almost an hour.

If you count my time trying to actually get the package delivered the cost of the Airborne second day service was over $600.00 (I bill $100.00+ per hour) and the second day service was more like slow ground service.

(The shipment was from Ohio to Saratoga Springs New York - about 600 miles. The shipment averaged about 60 miles a day portal to portal.)

blah, thats one person one shipment. Airborne is cool. 🙂

Anyone try to use this coupon more than once?

Don't know why the mods deleted the link, but if you look at the next to last page of the ad you can see it.

I've used Airborne once, back when USR was upgrading modems to the X2 and sent you a replacement free, had no problems then. Have 2 items [including a monitor] I need to ship and was also wondering if anyone had any problems using the coupon and 2 seperate times?

The coupon is in this week's OfficeMax flyer. I used it with no problems. Haven't tried to use one a second time yet, but I was planning to do so this week.

ship one ground RMA to newegg yesterday evening and it arrive today!!!
(NJ -> CA). May be they think its express?
not to mention its free. (under $10)
🙂

Thanks for the link, was about to head out and now don't have to worry about if they still have copies in store.

airborne is awful when it comes to ground shipping in state. i use airborne shipping at work, and when i asked one of the courier why it takes four days to deliver a package in state. his answer was, well people were shipping things via ground instead of using overnite or next day shipping and knowing that it will be there the next day. so they hold their in state packages. pffft. what a bunch of bs. personally i dont use airborne.

And this is different from the other carriers how?

Ordered a memory chip for the laptop last year from crucial. Shipped 2 day air via fedex. It made it from crucial to the local distribution the morning after I ordered as was loaded onto the truck for delivery as confirmed by the tracking number. Never arrived that day and when I called tey told me the driver decided not to deliver since he didn't have any other deliveries in my neighborhood and it could still wait a day to meet the 2 day air requirement.
