hosting a madden tournament

My lovely wife is throwing me a 30th birthday party. Since a lot of my close friend will be there, and we all play Madden, I have decided to turn it into a Madden tournament instead (or in addition to, I suppose). Between the food (my wife makes the best party food) and games, it should be a fun time.

Anyways, since I believe this tournament will become a yearly thing I went out and bought a decent travelling trophy for the winner (10" miniature version of the Lombardi trophy) and am looking to engrave it.

I am stuck, though, on what to engrave-- in essence, I'd like to put either the name of the tournament, or the trophy, on it. "Maddden Tournament" , "Madden Bowl", or "Madden Trophy" sound way too generic.

The best I could come up with on my own is the "Birthday Bowl", but I don't necessarily want any future tournaments tied to mine (or someone else's) birthday.

Is there a word for someone who is so bad at sports in real life, that they excel at playing video games? If so, that would make a great name for the trophy.

Any ATOT'ers out there with a creative idea?



 
Bah, for Madden the trophy should be a bronzed turd. 😛

If you're looking to name the trophy based on people that rock at games but suck at the real sport, how about something along the lines of "Virtual Athlete Award."
 
How about getting 'look out, we're going to tackle you' on the trophy and then you all jump on the winner and pound the crap out of him. Doesn't have much replay value unless you have a person who didn't play last year win but you still get to pound the crap out of the winner which is always fun.

LOL... I kinda like the "Couch Potato Bowl"

Some other ones I've pondered are "Armchair Quarterback Bowl", "La-Z-Boy Bowl", "Souper Bowl", "Snow Bowl" (it snows quite a bit around here), "Soul Bowl", "Button Bowl", and "The Golden Thumb Trophy".

Anyone have any other ideas?
