hosted forums?

A friend of mine is an IST major, she designed the website for her sorority...she'd like to set up a forum, but isn't exactly a web design master, plus the greek life server doesn't support php/perl/cgi/etc. She was wondering if theres any pre-hosted forums out there, where basically you pay a monthly fee, and they host it for you, you don't have to install it and whatnot...I told her it'd be easier/cheaper to get her own space somewhere with php and set it up herself but she's lazy...any ideas?

But most of the forums also offer the hosting package as well for a fee

Telnap's Cpanel has 2 Discussion Forums (phpBB2 or SMF) all ready to go with Fantastico Installer... she can be up and running in less than a minute - just choose an admin password & start posting. :thumbsup:

If you want to get fancy, adding a godaddy.com domain name will bring you to about ~$2.09 a month. It doesn't get much cheaper than that... :beer:😀

I would like to re-emphasize that installing a new forum is super easy and can take less than 1 minute. Just make sure to choose a web host who offers cPanel with Fantastico -or- DirectAdmin with Installatron.
