just had a radio update with a local reporter on scene talking to a retired police official. He said he cannot make a specific comment to confirm any number of casualties, but just commented "It is bad, very bad"

I was listening to the local radio station just now and apparently 4 are confirmed dead with anywhere between 20-40 hostages still in the building. 2 more have been rushed to Wilson Hospital for emergency surgery.

He lives in the same apartment complex as I do in the good area of Endicott, he's safe .
