I have some friends in Binghamton.
That's some crazy stuff. I wonder what caused the incident at the Civic Association. Waiting for details.

Yep - I have been listening it to the local radio this morning (WNBF-1290). Scary stuff.

Sad day :( My thoughts go out to the families affected.

**EDIT**

Quick update - news station just saying "some deaths" have occured

A local forum has unconfirmed reports of at least 4, but as many as 12 killed :(

OMG - this is terrible!

A bit off-topic, but I always cringe a bit when I see it called "Binghampton" rather than "Binghamton" (referring to the text in the link).

Oh and I thought that four people were just shot but not dead?

I was just on lunch break and saw it on the news. Couldn't fucking believe it! My brother (duragezic here) lives there.

Edit: Or maybe he lives in Enicott. But it's close I believe.

I wonder how many more will be hurt before the police decide to do something?

just had a radio update with a local reporter on scene talking to a retired police official. He said he cannot make a specific comment to confirm any number of casualties, but just commented "It is bad, very bad" :(
This is awful!

I was listening to the local radio station just now and apparently 4 are confirmed dead with anywhere between 20-40 hostages still in the building. 2 more have been rushed to Wilson Hospital for emergency surgery.

He lives in the same apartment complex as I do in the good area of Endicott, he's safe ;).

Wow, we have more people than I thought from this area. Why haven't we ever had a meet up? We could go to all those places around here (?)
