Horrible Stingray wound

Stingrays are friendly.

I petted one and fed it and it was kind to me.

I was in the ocean.

No shins, I have proof.

I think this sting-ray was doing him a favor so he could have a bad-ass robot hand.

How can moving his fingers like that not hurt like hell?!?!

He sure does seem to be amused by being able to see his tendons though. 😀

They can be very friendly. Look up Stingray City Grand Cayman on youtube to see wild stingrays that have adapted to people, its literally a drive up and park wild petting zoo for rays. That being said a wild ray that's never been within 100 feet of a human may not be good lol.

yea the ones at stingray city are so used to people its silly, they are also fucking huge from getting free food many times a day for decades
they just swim right up to you and bump you for food

OH GOD NO. NO NO NO. I stopped watching after seeing the bones/tendons moving under the now-rotten/sloughed away flesh.

NO NO NO

Yeah. I've caught a lot of bat rays here in the bay area while fishing. And yes, when they're out of the water they do try to sting you by flipping themselves. I simply lift them by their noses or mouth and drop them back into the water.
The issues is that their stingers are serrated like a knife. So when they go in, they're hard to get out. Not only that, the stingers are meant to be brittle so when you try to get them out, they break into tiny fragments and those serve to cause bacterial infection like the video showed.

In the end of the video, he dips his hand into... some kind of fluid. What the hell was that fluid?
