Hopefully this thread pointed out how worthless threads of this nature are and we'll see less threads like this and more worthwhile reading matter.

Although, I would like the 3d glasses to work, creating a thread dedicated to the annoyance of not working is too annoying. 3d glasses is fun to try, but yeah, they give you headaches and just decrease the overall quality of the IQ in the game.

I have posted at least three times in this thread that I am not trying to point out problems with ATI cards, I'm trying to point out problems with some recent anti-SLI threads.

The X800 core better be working right these days- they've had almost three years of writing drivers for it?

SLI is a whole 6 months old, and IMO, when the worst you can point out about it is that it doesn't work with Apple monitors, 3d glasses, and Windows 2000- maybe we don't need any more inane "OMFG! nVidia haxorz screwing us with no 3d glasses" type threads.

oh cmon dude..r u some 10year old?? who cares if someone's put some stupid antiSLI post..are u the CEO of nvidia that u have to respond in this fashion to that!!

Actually I assumed the shutter glasses thing was a parody of yourself and keys, but what do I know. No one could take that thread seriously -as I doubt if one person here uses those things. :music:

It's interesting how when someone puts up anti-NVidia/SLI BS, the people in this thread who are "outraged" by even a joke thread about ATI problems are strangely absent, or more likely, chiming in "NVidia Sux".

So you can post "payroll", "sales", and the like all you want- but I know hypocrisy when I see it and consider such name calling the equivalent of the mutterings of a panhandler or ravings of a street corner preacher. Yes, they are words spoken by a human being, but no, they have no value to me and aren't worth consideration.

Rollo, in order to have avoided a flame thread you should have said that it is easy to disect cards that have individual problems. Mentioning at the end of your first post that you were trying to make a point of how ridiculous ATI/NV raves are. How could people not take it seriously, especially when you looked for more problems throughout the topic and posted them.
