Horrible Luck with Phone Batteries or is it the Phone?

Been thru 4 different replacement batteries from 4 different online sources, all of the batteries provide only 6 hours of standby time for my Motorola V3c.

Thinking that my phone wasn't charging the batteries properly, I picked-up a desktop charger. Charged all of the batteries with it. Same problem of only having 6 hours of standby time.

When I put a battery in, the phone flashes showing only 2 bars at first but then shows the full 4 bars. 6 hours later, it's out of power.

I'm currently month to month and still haven't decided if I want to re-up with Verizon and get a new phone or possibly go with an iPhone.

Thinking of going to a Verizon Store to pick-up a replacement from them, hoping that the batteries I've been getting online for cheap are just crap.

Or pick-up a used V3c on eBay and see if it's actually just my current phone.

Any thoughts?

Dude, you replaced the battery 4 times, and still have the same problem!!!!

Wait, this is shens, right?😛

Unfortunately, no. That's why I got a desktop charger.

Forgot to add, that I have an older battery that lasts longer but still doesn't make it a whole day.

Unless you got 4 of the wrong batteries, then your problem is with the phone. Are you sure the capacity of the new batteries match the oringinal?

I had the same exact problem with my Motorola Q. 4-8 hours standby was all I got. Turned out the Q on Sprint eats the shit out of battery power while roaming, and I mostly roam.

You getting 6 hours standby on your home network, or roaming?
