Well, driving along today to pick up some lunch, I was balancing two large milkshakes in the passenger seat of my car.

About 20 feet from my parking spot, i make a gentle left turn, milkshakes start to tumble. I pull on the steering wheel to lean over, BOOM, and hit the back of a brand new 3 week old parked Acura TSX, shiny dark blue. Appparently the hand brake on the TSX wasn't on, the momentum cause it to hit a green caddy about 1 foot ahead.

My car lost a brush guard, headlight, and punctured a hole in the ac lines. Some hood damage as well. No collision converage, so i'm just gonna tie the hood down and hope it doesn't fly up and blind me.

The humliation of hitting two parked cars is terrible. Plus the front and rear bumpers of the TSX are ruined (crappy honda parts)...they fell off in a 5mph fender bender. Caddy lost some paint, but guy in the TSX made him stay to file a claim against me, (he was quite upset his brand new car was hit). I think he would hit me if the police didn't come.

Anyhow, off to find a second job to pay for my rising insurance premiums.

Are you a girl?

I think not, else from what he said "I think he would hit me if the police didn't come" then that TSX guy will really be an sh*t-head with no class.

"No collision converage, so i'm just gonna tie the hood down and hope it doesn't fly up and blind me. " i love that! can i put it in my sig lol.

ouch, yea those big milkshakes are um too big. the supersize cups right? those don't fit in many cupholders, i stay away. i keep a little cooler in my car to keep stuff i don't want all over my fabric.

Well it wasn't the brightest idea to try to balance two large milkshakes while driving but at least you didn't try to flee the scene. I have had cars I have had parked hit and run twice now and god it is infuriating.

Same goes for people who do this with kids. Is it really worth hitting another car to yell at your kid in the back seat? Just deal with it when you are stopped...

I agree. Some stupid woman hit me while she was hitting her daughter. Rearended my Honda. Didn't sue though 🙁 Should have, but I didn't even have her number. She wrote down 6 digits.

thats hilarious...

my gf recently backed her 2002 mustang into a parked izuzu hombre, kinda just scraped the side, but did $1000 in damage to her car...i remember telling her "dont back up too far" and scrreeeetch, damn girls

Not prioritizing attention span properly causes a lot of accidents.

1. Do not carry anything hazarous where it might spill on you, such as hot coffee.

2. Avoid any drink containers that doesn't fit in cup holder, especially if they're in glass bottle. It's really dangerous when they roll around and park itself underneath the brake pedal. It happened to me once and it scared the heck outta me. Luckily, I was able to get my passenger to get it out from under the pedal.

3. If you must carry lunch, you always take a risk of spill. Spill or crash. Your choice.

Ahh, at least it was only cars that got hit. There was a kid here recently that just got his license (16) and he was driving home from McDonalds. Some of his fries fell onto the floor on the passenger side and he reached over for them, while drving down the road mind you. Well, he veered to the right and ran over a 7 year old girl walking with her Mom killing her instantly. When it comes to food or drinks I just let them spill or whatever. To many things can go so wrong.

You've got to be kidding, that is horrible.

I've always wondered why people will lean over in a moving car to stop a milkshake.... at most you would have just had a fabric cleaning bill. But now it's much worse...

Anyway, it's done and you realize it's your fault. That really sucks dude and I wish you the best with your insurance company! Hopefully all with work out for you.

If I'm cruisin along at 5 mph and a milkshake tumbles, I'd probably reach to grab it too... but I'd also slam on the brakes... but then again, I'm talented, I can think about 2 things at the same time =)

Hittting her daughter? WTF? You didn't get her license plate and turn her in for child abuse??

You're a stupid idiot! Good thing it was only a minor accident. Imagine if you seriously injured someone because of your reckless driving behavior. I hope you learned your lesson.
