So I ordered a 5 GB PC iPod for $149 from the apple store about three weeks ago. They kept on postponing the ship date, but I never cancelled the order because I still thought it was a good deal. Turns out that it paid off 🙂 Look what they shipped me instead for no additional charge!

Sweet! It's always nice when a company rewards you for an inconvenience! Personally, I like to shoot off a thank-you mail for stuff like that, even if it never gets to the person(s) who made the decision, I like to let them know that actions like that make me want to do business with them again in the future.

I don't. I ordered a 5 GB iPod, they cancelled it because they were going to send me a 10 GB mac (logistics or something), then cancelled that for a PC, and cancelled it once again...and finally decided to send me a 10 GB mac instead of the 5 GB PC for the same price. I can flash them and there's no difference.
