I don't think they are very good. The few kinds I've had anyway. They are somewhat okay, but only on sale. Think I've gotten them for about $1.50.

i work @ an albertson owned grocery store which is pretty expensive. I never seen it @ below 2.00 on sale.

Never been a fan of Hormel foods.
Tried the healthy choice meals that steam in the microwave and those were pretty good.

They are okay. They aren't nasty though. They are good in a pinch, but it isn't something I'd want to eat on a regular basis when I bring food to work.

Yeah I voted nasty cause I think they lean more towards that. They look so tasty on the package till you open it up and it's nothing like pictured, and is pretty rugged. I brought one to work last summer and I don't think it smelled too good and looked worse. One of my coworkers walked by and looked at it with a kind of funny face. Yah man, it's kind of rugged, but I don't have much money and I don't give a damn right now so I just shoveled it in, heh.

BTW, I hate that fucking name Compleats. It bugs me. Mmm just a little Compleats for me please.

Never had 'em, but no matter how expensive/cheap they are, they always taste about the same. Still beats getting off my ass to cook.

over-processed garbage is right.

i'd avoid already prepared meals as much as possible. generally speaking the more processed the food the worse it is for you. especially when you get into these commercial tv dinner type meals they are absolutely horrible for you.

you dont have to go become an organic only vegan raw diet nut to treat your body right, but you can avoid the pinnacle of the mass-produced crap that is terrible for you.

I was getting ready to say that I'd rather just spend the equivalent amount at Taco Bell or something as they're just as bad for you, but it looks like they're not really bad for you...yeah the sodium is a bit high, but that's impressively not unhealthy for microwave dinners.

Still, not the sort of thing I'd ever eat.

if those are the shelf-storable kind, they're ok. if you can't use a freezer they're probably about as good as it gets. i used to keep a couple on hand when i worked a call center in college cuz everything would get stolen out of the freezer. except that turkey someone put in there. never did understand that.

Some are pretty good...some suck ass.

Turkey & Hearty Vegetables is my favorite. 180 calories, 3.5 grams of fat and tastes damn good.

It's not bad, but I like most of the microwaveable stuff better.

My personal favorite right now is Simply Enjoy Butter Chicken... tasty stuff!

If it's anything like those shelf-storable Dinty-Moore 90 second meals, they're terrible. Edible, but not much in the way of flavor.

Edit: Dinty-Moore is Hormel. So yes, they're horrible[/b]
