How's the opinion of your church important in that regard? As many others have said above, nothing is gonna happen at hooters. People should worry much more about the SO *not* going to a restaurant for lunch, but, um, elsewheres...
If you think it's ok to work there, then do it. If you have conscience problems, don't.
Not being from the US I didn't know what Hooters was all about.
I got my "edjucation" from my then Girlfriend (now wife for 10 years). She took me there and we had some good food together.
Take the job if you don't mind some guys staring at your front and especialy your "back". If you are OK with the simple fact that some man imagine things about your bodym it's for you. 😉

Our local college boys attend a private college which costs $25000 a year, so daddy has some money. I don't think that would be too bad becaue they probably have daddy's credit card.

Lol, if your hubby is okay with it,go for it,you'll make plenty of money.Many moons ago I worked in a place that required us to wear uniforms similar to those at Hooters, except we also had cat ears and tails(I hated that damn tail and became the places first bobtailed cat really quickly 😀)... I made a LOT of money.

Its funny that there are all these posts mention bad food there. I've had nothing buy good experiences there as far as quality of the food. Still, one has the best time at Hooters is when you know the waitress'. A friend of mine knows most of the waitress' at the local Hooters and we always have a great time when we go.
honestly, how much you'll make will only depend on how busy the place is, if your looking for a high paying part time job, and want to be a waitress, why dont you try a more upscale restaurant, since as the tabs get bigger, the tips tend to also. A few of my friends work at top notch restaurants and make easily $200-$300 a night in tips in addition to the base wage. I'd say go for an upscale restaurant first, also, like i said, depending on how busy hooters might be, applebees or Fridays might be a better choice, just find out which restaurant is busiest, and frequent those if you can't hit up a high end one

i have done the hooters outfit for tips, w/ the bra, wig and shorts.......it didn't work so hot, and some of you have seen the pics and can attest to why not🙂
anyways, go for it fetts, my gf has been offered a job there multiple times, but has never done it cuz her dad would kill her - i think it'd be cool bragging rights 'my girlfriend works in hooters'🙂

It seems like the girls shouldn't have to wear hose in the summer anyway. I would assume most waitresses there either have a natural tan or fake and bake by then anyway. In the dead of winter I can see it, might even be good since it'd be slightly warmer.
