Been to hooters once and will never go back again. I had a cheese steak from hell there once. God, it was a race to get back to that hotel room.

If they want tits they will have to import them via the Fair Trade Act ;)

Probably true, but can you prove it... ;)

Why not call it "Oxymoron" and be done?

Having been born in Shanghai and been back numerous times, I'm surprised that Hooter's is allowed to open there.

I'm betting the uniforms are going to be different than the ones here. While Hooter's is pretty tame and there are many other seedy places strewn about the city, the Chinese government usually cares more about the outward appearance of a place. A high profile american restaurant that sells on sex appeal seems like something the government would not allow.

supposedly yes. But porn has always been outlawed. Still lots of sources for it in the country though. With so many counterfeit DVDs, some of them has to be "good" as they say.

The average Chinese person does not even know what hooters actually means. No cleavage = no big deal to them as they do not know any better.

agreed.

The concept of hot waitresses really isn't new though.

In Shanghai at least, from my own experience, 75 to 90% of waitstaff in most restaurants are female under 30.

Also at more fancy restaurants, they do the 1 server per guest thing and they stand behind you for the whole meal. Its kind of weird having somebody over your shoulder while you are eating though.

"Eating Tofu" would be a better name according to my friend... he wouldn't tell me what that means. I guess it have something to do with breasts right?

"eating Tofu" means groping a girl or copping a feel.
