You could first post an article that is not published in 2004 based on fear when HSA rules were going though congress. Post something about how they work now with the people that have been enrolled in them for the past several year with good success.

The topic of HSA is very political so it is very easy to find the opinion you are looking for. Look for stats, not opinion.

Not sure why the 2004 one ended up being linked, I was looking at this one. I think this article seems to point out the pros and cons fairly well.
CDHP is an HSA. There are some good things, but as I said, people in these plans tend to be "healthier" than those in traditional insurance. They are more likely to skip medications to save money, but also more likely to be non-smokers or to participate in fitness clubs.

Yes is does change what people do, but there appears to very little significant change. The meds most skipped were for allergies. My wife has pretty much given up on the prescription and gone with the dirt cheap over the counter generics.

i find Claritin to work as well as my prescription. I may stop taking the prescription all together.
