I have 3 wireless lav mics which I use for interviewing people for a project. These 3 mics all have a transmitter into which they plug. That transmitter, worn on the person's belt/pocket/etc, sends a signal to a receiver.
The receiver can plug in directly into my camera's external audio input. However, since I have 3 receivers, it's a bit more complicated. The 3 receivers are hooked 3-to-1 into a do-hickey. I don't know the official name of the do-hickey except that it's essentially the opposite of a splitter: it combines the signal from 3 different wires into a single wire output. This output wire then plugs into the camera.
My questions is: how do I do this with more than 3 mics/receivers? The do-hickey I have only has 3 inputs and 1 output. What do I need to buy to increase the number of inputs into the final single output?
