Hooking my Wii up to a monitor

So, I cracked and bought a Wii and love it. The problem is that the Wii is on a family TV right now and that limits the time I get to play it to virtually none. I want to know if it is possible to hook it up to my 22" LCD Monitor in my room. The thing is, the monitor doesn't have Component/Composite inputs and I don't have a conversion box or VGA/Component switch.

The question:

My GeForce 8800GTS did come with this nifty little TV-out cable that plugs into the S-Video port of the card. Is it possible to run the Wii through this and somehow output it on the monitor? Is there some special software (free?) that will allow me to do this?

Let's put it this way: Assuming there was software to allow you to stream from wii to pc to TV, it'd add lag to the picture. Sound and video would be out of sync, and it'd be fairly hard to play.

That said, there isn't any software that does that. Just buy a box or what eelw linked to in order to play it on your monitor.
