Hello all.......i'll be getting a plasma soon and I am doing inwall wiriing right now. Need to know if I can run a SVGA cable (50 foot) from my pc in one room to the plasma in the other room? Will the quality be ok for gaming? THx.

wtf? 50 feet? move the pc closer.

are you sure it's a vga cable, most diaplays have DVI, component and HDMI, VGA is rare.

yes 40-50feet. I dont' want to have to move the pc everytime. DVI won't got that distance.....HDMI will be for HD satellite. All/most plasma's have a vga input for a pc......so i'm just wondering if would be sufficient or not before I wire one up.

eh, it's a analog signal it'll be servicable. just make sure you either buy top of the line 50m cables, or get yourself a repeater at higher resolutions.

I'd say the crappy type that come with a monitor will work to say 6memter or so but beyond that at 1280x720(or 13xx by 766 or something), i'd get high quality, extremely well shielded cables. Coaxial type arent needed yet, but above 20meters, you should think about it.
