Seems like around here it's simply a trendy thing to do like smoking, but since the hazards aren't there more people do it..
 
There are a bunch of Arab hookah bars around here.

In VA a lot of people go to prince. If you don't order a $2 can of coke they will give you a pos hookah
 
some people say smoking hookah is just as bad as smoking a cigarette, but i don't see why....

anyways, my opinion on it is :thumbsup: but only cos i can do the reverse waterfall with it 😀
 
hookahs are alright for "whatever" you're smoking. However, there is a fundamental flaw in the hookah that makes them undesirable, particularly with inexperienced smokers.

Picture, if you will, four (less or more) sucks vales with one intake - blow valve/bowl of burning whatever. If all four hoses are sucking, all is good. If one hose is left unattended, there creates a pressure differential where the remaining suckers only get a fraction of the disired intake, watered-down by the non-sucker's empty hose. Now, to aleviate this problem, the non-sucker can plug his/her hose to rebuild the original pressure differential to the main inlet (bowl) so all can get thier goods. What is needed is a check-valve for each hose, a problem that I've overcome and am willing to sell/give plans to the entrepeneauring pothead.

Cliff notes:
All suck or the hookah sucks
Plug the hole for better suck
I've invented a hole-plugger so that all can suck freely.

most decent hookahs have a valve on each hose...

The Hookahs were in Westwood long before you were at UCLA, they are nothing new.

its also a scuba diving device y'know.
its a pump the floats on the surface and pumps air below to divers in hoses.
 
you dont need to keep lighting a hookah....they have a small piece of coal on top which keeps it lit...
