Just saw like 2 people holding signs on the street downtown that said "Janitor appreciation day - honk if you appreciate your janitor!". WTF? I mean, I guess I appreciate my janitor, whomever that may be? But I appreciate the McDonald's burger flipper as well. And the guys in the bathrooms at fancy restaurants that hand me those nice clean towels to dry my hands. But do they need some special appreciation day as well? Hell, where is my special appreciation day for the Most Intellectual, Exiting Player-Pimps in the Universe? Does EVERYONE really need a special appreciation day? So silly IMHO.

By the way, NO ONE was honking. I felt kind of bad for them LOL.

If there is anything we can all agree on it's that this world needs more positivity. Being positive and complimenting others costs you nothing. Honk you damn horn.

Doing something else? What would that be? Making pube soap or begging a computer forum on how to make it?

I would imagine your janitor would appreciate a honk given the pube jungle he has to clean out of your shower drain.

Never really understood honking as a show of support though. I associate honking with rage, which is probably why I hesitate at these signs.

The car needs two horns but I guess it would probably be a hard sell to get them to install dedicated "Polite Alert / Acknowledge" and "Fuck you" horns.
 
We don’t have a janitor. We do have a maid who comes in to clean the house every other week though. I show my appreciation by paying her.

You should be extracting free fatty acids instead of wasting your time whining about what a waste of time it is to honk your horn every once in a while.
 
i always chat up with my janitor. nice enough guy.

though sometimes he just starts cursing up a storm kinda under his breath, and i find it a little amusing, but also a little sad. like, why is he so angry with certain things?
 
My wife always gets the custodian in her workplace a gift this time a year. I would if my employer would hire a custodian but they really are a trashy employer.
