anyways, NICE nice picture, SaigonK, what camera you used? I thought it is particularly impossible to take any hi-res picture of the habour at night. I believe you must be standing quite far to take those "harbour view shots" right?


and IFC = International Financial Center: a new commerical building renting out office to all the hi profile companies. The first 3 floors on the basement feature a shopping mall, restaurants, and a very very comfy threater. 🙂 A fabulous place to bring you clients for a power lunch or your date for nice dinner.
 
The camera is a Sony DSC-V1, two of my co-workers are there..not me 🙁

well, basing on the picture i see it seems like they went to two places: the Wong Tai Sin temple and Tsim Shai Tsui (where the majority of the pics were taken). Central/Admiralty area may interest them. It is like the 'Wall Street' of HongKong. it is the area around that tall building (IFC).

Also, Time Square and other shopping centers in Causeway Bay may interested them too, but I hope they are not clausophobic... there are just tooo many ppl around there.

for transportation, take the subway (called MTR).
 
Those are sweet! Hong Kong is awesome! I went there when I was really young (about 12 years ago), but from what I recall, it was a really sweet place. I would love to go back

Well, cantonese is a dialect in southern China, mainly in Canton. Hong Kong has their way of speaking cantonese. Example, cantonese for going out is "hue lill", but in Hong Kong they say "wet." My ping ying not too good. 😛
