hong kong action flicks.... any recommendations?

i'm purchasing gen-x cops and gen-y cops from hkflix.com... so if anybody has any recommendations for funny hk action flicks, i'm interested. there has to be good comedy though... like the ones jackie chan made during his peak.

Drunken Master II, best Jackie Chan film IMHO.

Young and Dangerous? They have a bunch of those movies... some really good stuff.
 
if you are into triad movies, try the young and dangerous series.

hmm, others i like:
once upon a time in china
god of gamblers
hit team (if you are into counter-strike🙂)
storm riders
my father is hero
martial angels (just cuz there are some cute ladies in it!)

there's more that aren't coming to mind at the moment

Also, get Jet Li's Tai Chi Master (Called Twin Dragons in America)

Once Upon a Time in China and the sequels make a great series but if you want something a little more light-hearted, go for Fong Sai Yuk 1 and 2
 
Fong Sai Yuk series are cool, funny, and have lotsa action scenes. I think it's better than the Once Upon a Time in China series (except Once Upon A Time in China and America).
 
i'd save your money and not buy those two movies (genx and y), pretty stupid... =1 stay away from "the avenging fist" also if you see it

i'd get movies with nick chueng he's pretty funny and got a few movies with action like conman in tokyo (conman series)

one of his newer movies "every dog has his date" is pretty good and its got michelle reis 😀 only bad thing is that its a romantic comedy
 
Michelle Reis? She sounds familiar.. what other movie is she in? Oh yeah, I don't know why, but I liked God of Cookery. Haha!

I caught 20 minutes of this hilarious movie once. It was about some guy who idolized Bruce Lee and entered disco dancing contests to win money to buy the moped of his dreams. Anybody know the name of it? It's fairly recent.

Good of Cookery is good although the jokes sometimes are corny as hell. But that's the case with a lot of CHinese comedies 🙂 King of Beggars is pretty good too. Actually most Stephen Chow movies are good 🙂 Get the one where he plays 007 (Once a time in Beijing i think??).
 
Does anyone know where I can buy them multiple tapes movies such as The Condor Hero. I would actually prefer it be on VCD or even DVD (slim chance). Most of the ones I see are of olddddddddddddddddddddddddddd movies and they cost way too much

OMG ... something wrong with your eyes, and i bet you're not a big hong kong movie flix either. Tokyo raiders is a funny movie and it's pretty good ..
