it's the blue Estalada, she's supporting the fight for an independent Catalonia.

I learned that Barcelona and its Catalonia province want to be independent from rest of Spain. Catalonia was taken over by Spanish Crown 300 years ago. 9/11 was their biggest holiday.

The situation is akin to Taiwan or Quebec. This day, they were all celebrating their Catalan pride.

every time I've gone to Italy on holiday We've always stopped in Switzerland for a day or two, the alps are fucking beautiful.

Lauterbrunnen is the place with the most dramatic mountain landscape, so it's where tourists from afar always go, and it's the favourite place for base jumpers to kill themselves. Also the walser houses really contribute to the alpine feeling.
