Honeymoon Destination Opinions

Preferably a beach trip... think island paradise. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I'd pick Spain, but I'm not a beach guy at all. We went to Paris for ours and loved every minute of it.

Seriously though, Costa Rica or Mykonos for warm weather.

Beaches are overrated unless you enjoy swimming quite a bit, surfing or scuba/snorkeling. While I enjoy them, not sure I could do that in my *ahem* spare time on a honeymoon.

I know both my wife and I would have loved Australia or Ireland for our honeymoon.

Otherwise the Whitsundays in Australia, rent your own island and go nuts.

I'm not a "relax on the sand" kind of guy. Honeymooned in New Zealand. We went whitewater rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, crawling around in caves, all kinds of fun stuff. Best trip ever.

Wife and I went to Barbados...absolutely loved it. I'm sure there are 100 other beaches.
