I also had a thread asking something liek this...Where to have honeymoon?

I have been using priceline to get a idea of price and what you get. So far Dominican Republic seems to be winning. It only cost about $900-950 (flght from Raleigh NC and room there)per-person for 6 nights for a nice place that includes all meals. I think it can get in the $700ish range without meals and less quality. Also most items are cheap enough there and its larger then other places so more to explore.

I did not like Hawaii as its cost were high for what you got and its become more a tourist trap (imo). Even Hawaii's board is complaining about to many people.

So right now I am leaning for the Dominican Republic.

Oh and almost forgot. I looked at Mexico as it was cheap and seemed fun. BUT there are a lot of warnings about crime, sexual assault, etc? there. Kinda a downer to be thinking that you are going to be robbed and your new wife will be raped by 10 Mexicans on your honeymoon. So mexico is off the list after seeing all the warnings.

And get your passport updated as after 9/11 it takes a little more time sometimes now.

Thanks for the great advice you guys!!

Mexico - That's what I've heard... Not really on the high end of places we want to go anyway, but I've also heard that there is an island there (Cuzamel (Spelling)) is really nice...

Lolawiz - I'll send you a PM for some info on cruises... :D
