Honestly, does CW have the worst shows or what?

I just watch individual shows from networks, streamed online or downloaded.

I think Supernatural was the last show I watched; there's nothing left from that network now. It seems like the network went to crap ever since the change to "CW". Not that there were ever that many good shows on the network.

EDIT: lol, maybe this is why (from wikipedia):
The network features a lineup of shows that, according to its President of Entertainment Dawn Ostroff, "appeal to women 18 to 34-years-old"

Oh, so they're trying to be the Oxygen-WE channel then? 🙄

I haven't had the CW since the whole digital changeover. Closest station was down in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex area (~120 miles away), and they decided to go digital only on cable when that happened. I wouldn't pay for digital cable for only one channel I would watch MAYBE 1 or 2 shows a week on, so said screw it.

Now I have a new (to me) house, and no cable, dish or antenna. And to be quite frank, I'm sort of enjoying the quiet! :awe:

Is that the old upn channel? If so my watching on that began and ended with enterprise.

Apparently they combined UPN (black) and WB (teen) and ended up with CW (18-34 women).

Veronica Mars was a great show. First two seasons were on UPN and the last season was on CW, then they canceled it. I don't blame them, it had pretty close to the worst ratings on TV, it's amazing that it lasted 3 years.

I can remember watching Dawson's Creek in high school. Pretty terrible show, but it had a young Katie Holmes who was pretty much the only reason to watch. It seemed like WB started adding more and more shows just like DC but I never watched any of them.

I watch it because it has reruns of King of Queens and Everyone Loves Raymond on at night.

I just don't get how they make these decisions. They kept One Tree Hill but axed VMars despite VMars doing about equally poorly ratingswise (but at least on an upward trend) and actually getting some decent critical recognition?

I could see if One Tree Hill was knocking it out of the park, but given the choice between two fair-to-middling teen dramas, I'd pick the upward-trending unique critical darling over the easily-lost-in-the-crowd 90210 clone.

The cancellation of Veronica Mars annoys me. I wanted to see her in FBI academy.

I love Kristen Bell
