Honest opinion of my friend

I thought we were only talking about the voice. I liked the piano playing.

Hence why it's called "messing". Was just farking around.

fair enough.

Anything can be polished now a days. Some of his playing was sloppy and singing flat but all that can be fixed.

Your reverb has too much pre delay and way too much bloom. Relax the tail and pull in the pre delay slightly and lower the volume on the reverb in total. You don't need the reverb to wash out on this type of material.

There are some odd resonant freqs around 800hz to 1k? you should try to eq these out before they hit the reverb. Also put a hipass filter on the verb and get rid of all the junk below 100hz

You should record in a wooden room if you have one or put up some kind of bass absorption.

Things sound better live then they do recorded so nobody is as blown away as you are of him - its not translating.

manlymat.........boring elevator music....:hmm:

Not so manly if ya ask me...:big grin:

Not my kind of music but sounded decent...

Good piano, terrible lyrics, decent, but misapplied vocals. It reminded me a bit of Christian "rock", and that's not a good thing.
