Link - Parents of ATOT can probably relate with t-shirt slogans like, "I'm not a performing monkey" and "I heard Einstein was a late talker".

There's also an amusing story sections with tales of toddler woes such as this:
When my second son was born, my 2 year old, had a tough time with it. He didn?t want a brother and let us know right away. He started acting out immediately. Throwing tantrums. Not eating. Hitting the baby when he got the chance. He turned the house upside down. I never knew a toddler could wield such power. And then he took it to a whole new level.

The baby was only 2 weeks old and I had just run to the store with the two of them to get more formula. I got back to the house and pulled into the driveway. I brought the baby in first?I couldn?t handle the two of them at that time. In hindsight, not the best idea. When I walked back out to get my 2 year old, he had locked the doors of the running car and refused to open them! I begged and pleaded. I tried to bribe him with candy. He giggled as he rifled through my purse. Some of the neighbors came to try and help. He laughed harder. They looked at me with sad eyes wondering what I had done to create such a demon. My husband, ?in important meetings all day? chuckled and told me to wait it out. He?d eventually get tired of the game. I ended up calling 911. By the time they got there he had taken off all of his clothes and was peeing on the seat. The police were laughing and thought it was the funniest thing they had ever seen. I offered them the opportunity of a no hassle adoption of a 2 year old.

After a few months my devil child got back to normal and you?d never believe he was capable of something like that. He forgave us for having another child and actually began to like him. But I warn you, never underestimate the power of a toddler wronged.

She shouldn't have given him the attention he wanted for locking himself in her car. She should have walked away (but still kept an eye on him to make sure that he didn't injure himself) and given him the attention he wanted after he came out of the car. She was just reinforcing his bad behavior.

So she got back to her house, and left the car on while taking her baby inside? What kind of logic is there in that?

Nothing. Just pointing out that the site *ALSO* has some amusing stories about toddlers from hell.

Call it "woman's intuition.":p

But really, pleading with the kid and bribing him with candy? Man, that kid obviously owns her. Better to get pissed and warn him of dire consequences if he doesn't open the door. Severity goes up until he opens the door, and then the consequences are carried out.
