So, that's what passes for a wagon these days, eh? Gee, guess that's "progress".
Actually, that POS is a perfect example of how the step wagon IS progress... in function. Most wagon buyers just aren't gonna take their wagons down to the track.
Function IS good, but should include hauling 4'x8' sheets of plywood, and have some serious towing ability. Otherwise, it's just another damn FWD minivan. Only reason real wagons end up at a track, is because they have the engine, chassis and drivetrain for the job.

i doubt the japanese market has much demand for hauling a full sheet of building material.

The Step Wagon's new design features a short front nose and flat floor that contribute to greater interior length and height, as well as considerable improvements to utility, in its capacity as a vehicle in the number 5 eight-seater minivan class. - Text

That's what it is, a POS minivan, NOT a wagon. This is a wagon!

A couple things I like: the complete versatility with the seats . . its nice. tables, beds, anything.

The sunroof/lights in the back. Those are cool.

Honda could make a really great car if they didn't insist on making it hideous to behold.
