BMW does have an Li line, it's the extended wheel base.
 
The shot of the backend of the car is rather convincing, if I saw it from a distance I might actually think it WAS a 745Li.

That's actually a brilliant idea...de-badge your generic looking car, and get some badges off of something else. Put magnetic backing on them, and slap em on when you park illegally...chances are, the meter maid won't know anything about cars and just read the fender badges when they write up the ticket....

Then you might have a chance of arguing it in court and having the ticket thrown out...

Leaving them on all the time makes you look retarded, though.

except for the fact that the meter maids just type in your license plate, and all your vehicle information comes up from that. at least in MN..
