Honda tries to fix up the Element...sorta

i used to think the element was hideous, but after recently spending a day at a honda dealership getting a different car, and driving an element for fun, it's kinda grown on me. it handles better than any "SUV" i've ever driven (although that's mostly limited to grand cherokees, explorers, and wranglers). and it has far more real-world utility than just about any car i've seen in a while. except for one glaring problem: a mere 675 pound load capacity! you could overload it with 4 adult men, even without luggage. so forget it.

oh god, the 2004 S2000 though. i swear, i want to cry just thinking about that car, it's so perfect for me. must. become. rich. person.

Man - I just want them to paint the fvcking body panels, not pimp it out!!!1 :|

Anywho - i saw a realyl nice CR-V today 🙂 I was at the beach, and I drove by it in the parking lot, and thought "Wow - the CR-V looks really nice for some reason!" I parked next to it, and gave it a look - then I realized, it doens't have the pasticized body panels that it's supposed to have!!!!!! Turns out, the car was from Ontario (at least, that's what the license plate said), and Canadian CR-Vs dont' have the plastic cladding! What are the better cars released in Canada?!?!?!

Also, here are some more pics: http://www.vtec.net/news/news-item?news_item_id=170194 Looks much better in person, or at least, in these pictures 😉

If I were in the market for a town car, I would consider the Element. I am not crazy about the current two color scheme but it looks okay in black.

Well..

58,116 people disagree with you all so far this year. 😛

I can only imagine that number rising with this new look.

Well, since it is a Honda, it will sell no matter how fugly it is. The more I look at the new Element, the more I like it. I "like it" much better than the current Element - which is horrible. Also, I wonder if they are going to redesign the rear seating because, from what I've read, the rear bench seat isn't too comfortable.
