link just saw this on TV looks like it would be fun to run around on. only 2,000. any idea if you need a motercycle liscence to ride a scooter on the street or what kind of insurance?

maybe he means it's to low to be street legal? on tv they said it was legal in 50 states so i have no clue

Heh, it basically says "I'm took chicken to ride a motorcycle", which is of the course the reason I'm interested in it in the first place...

Those bikes are equipped with 49 cc engines because anything with a motor of 50 ccs or greater has to be registered with the DMV, or something like that, so its not really "legal" or "illegal" to use one for transportation, as its largely unregulated. I've seen a few of them around... some people actually use them to commute to my campus. As long as you didn't attempt to take it on a highway where bikes/mopeds are prohibited, it should be fine.
