Homosexuality vs. Incest

Mods, please be lenient here, I believe this is a legitimate thread.

With that out of the way I want to ask something based on the recent homosexuality and incest threads. I found it odd that there seems to be a majority of people that defend homosexuality but incest is called "disgusting" by the majority. The reason often cited for defending homosexuality is "It doesn't matter to me who people want to have sex with." The well thought out reasoning for being against incest is "Ewwww, that's nasty, you're a pervert."

What I want to know is this: How many of you that defend homosexuality on that basis also think that incest is disgusting and wrong? If you do, why does it not matter who the sex is with in one case but makes all the difference in the case of incest? Perhaps you need to investigate your belief system a little further and try to understand how societal norms are created and destroyed.

Before those "f*cktards" among you get your panties in a wad over the reproductive consequences of incest, let's assume that the couple is infertile and they are consenting adults.

i believe incest is wrong because the way our emotions and psyche works, does not make it the best idea to mix different types of relationships, like family with sexual. homosexuality, unless it is homosexual incest, does not do this.

Ok, I may be weird, but although I regard both as unusual and not exactly normal, I think homosexuality is pushing it much farther than how much incest pushes it.

For those religiously inclined, the Bible makes mention that those "men who lie with men...will not inherit the Kingdom of God" but it also mentions that "Cain took his sister as a wife"...I'm not able to quote word for word, because I'm not (err, it's kinda hard memorizing thousands of pages of text word for word).

You are the one posting a thread comparing homosexuality vs incest.

You claim I have a puny mental stature which is funny because you don't even know me.
There are two things wrong with that statement:

1) You resort to personal insults for no reason, and with no grounds of comparision
2) You start a topic which compares two parameters that have nothing in common.

What is the value of this thread... to piss people off? You did a fine job of pissing me off.
It really sickens me to see the level on intolerance in the world.

I voted that neither are wrong. There are homosexuals out there and there are siblings screwing each other; it's not bothering you. Let people do what they like to, nobody's telling you that you're doing something wrong cause you have a girlfriend and are in a heterosexual relationship, and all of the incest people and transexuals are not going to come into your window at night and rape you mercilessly with a broomstick. It really shouldn't matter to you, because it's only how YOU have sex that should be any of your business.
