So I was heading home this morning after dropping a friend off at the airport and I saw the most incredible, the most incredulous, the most bombastic, and yet the most eye-catching thing in years....
A wing. It was a mustard yellow wing. I assumed that the airplanes I had seen arriving at the airport were flights of fancy that were still cascading in the frontal lobe, but as I passed, and came to a stoplight, and yet again, a visage the likes of which my retinas will never again record was brought before.
It was a huge wing, the size of which airplanes are carved to be stored in if such a thing exists. Its dimensions were seemingly limitless and infinite. Truly, I was a merely mortal in its gaze. It owned me. At this moment, I realized that I had seen a creation wheedled by the left hand of god.
Truly, the 1992ish Blue Ford Topaz and its five-foot mustard-colored wing were meant for each other.
If I would have taken pics my camera would have burst into flames much like my spirit.
True story. uhuh
