Homemade fan filter

I'm using an intake fan and it's making dusts come to my case.
What's the best thing we can find in our house for a fan filter?

I think a used fabric softner sheet works .

I haven't tried this, and I would be interested in hearing from those who have. What about pantyhose?

I tried the anti-static cling fabric softener sheet -- after I had already used the sheet to dry my laundry -- and it works like a champ -- so far.
