homeless statistical survey

im doing a statistical survery on homeless people in the bay area in CA. anyone know of particular places where they hang out?

EDIT: well, we did it the survery today and we wanted to see how much homeless ppl get from begging collecting cans, etc. they get SSI for 800 and get about 6 bucks an hour holding a sign. not too shabby consider they dont even "work"

All you have to do is give some change to one, and soon they'll come swarming in. Unfortunately they don't seem to recall ever receiving any change from you no matter how recently it was, they just continue the mantra, "got any change?", in a sort of zombie-like tone.

Well, there is a reason they're homeless. Most homeless folks aren't homeless because they are lazy; they are homeless because their brains don't work.

You need to watch more Southpark 😀

I don't know your reasons why you are doing statistics on homeless people, but I do think something needs to be done for the homeless population. Homelessness could happen to anyone with any type of background. Most people protect themselves by not thinking about it. But many people rise and fall in a life time.

One of my friends has volunteered to serve food in a homeless shelter.

He tells me that about half of them have cell phones strapped to their belts.

Go to the Mission District in Frisco.

Also the Tenderloin District (but not at night!!!) and the Haight area near the McDonalds at the end of Golden Gate Park.

Where did you end up going?

Do you have any good stories of people accusing you of trying to steal their thoughts, etc.?

I went and filmed some homeless people the other day for a character study, no one wanted to do it until I mentioned I was paying $10. Then they were all my best friend. I asked them what would they say to someone if they stole their kidney?
